Crescent Row - 3 new fragrances!

Is there anything Benefit can't do?

See what I think about the three new Crescent Row fragrances after the jump.

Benefit's latest foray into the fragrance market is marked by their signature cute names and quirky packaging.

Garden of Good & Eva, Lookin' to Rock Rita and So Hooked on Carmella are pretty adorable and would look cute on any dressing table or bathroom counter.

The 3 scents are quite different from one another, so there's something for everyone. My favourite would have to be Garden of Good & Eva, which Benefit describes as a 'crisp and fresh citrus floral'. It's quite a light, airy scent which I wouldn't mind wearing on a summery day. It's not so strong as to overwhelm you (or anyone you go near during the day) but it's got enough personality for people to look up when you enter the room!

Lookin' to Rock Rita is described by Benefit as an exhilarating and stylish fruity green, but for me, it's not that exhilarating. It's not that it's a bad scent, but it's certainly not memorable. And I don't know why it's described as 'fruity green', it certainly doesn't smell like green apples or grapes or limes.

And finally, So Hooked on Carmella is the traditional vanilla scent. Now, I am not a fan of vanilla fragrances normally as I find them reminiscent of bathroom spray, and this one is no different. But if you like vanilla, then you will probably like this one. It's not a heavy type of vanilla either, it's quite light and kind of reminds me of Skittles, which is weird because they're not vanilla at all! (It could be because one of the top notes is lemon). Benefit says this fragrance is an 'exquisitely feminine floral vanilla'.

These come in 30ml bottles which should be plenty to last you for a while! The scents are quite long lasting but of course it depends where you spray them. Putting a dab on your neck can help to extend the wear time.

Aussie gals can pick this one up for AUD $59, but unfortunately can't buy online from the USA due to international shipping regulations. It usually retails for US $36.

Please feel free to leave comments or questions below, I love hearing from you.
